There are 3 supported addressbook backends/plugins. galera-plugin which accesses the system addressbook. vdir-plugin which works on a directory or singlefile of vcards and an abook-plugin so mutt users can just copy their addressbook to the phone :-) 10:30 <popey> Ooh! 10:31 <popey> That's progress! 10:33 <DanChapman> indeed :-) and it's easy now to add more plugins in the future which is cool. 10:33 <DanChapman> I still need to respond to mpt on the OA no edit UI bug. Might be good to get mardy into that conversation as well. 10:36 <DanChapman> popey: did you get a chance to try and snap dekko last week? 10:36 <popey> No, had a bunch of other things bubble up my list, but they're out of the way so it's next on my list, promise :) 10:37 <DanChapman> No rush :-) 10:38 <faenil> DanChapman: cool stuff! 10:39 <DanChapman> faenil: do you know of any plans for a SplitView like component similar to the QQC one. Or will that be a UITK 2.0 thing? 10:39 <DanChapman> Where UITK 2.0 === "Quite some time away" 10:39 <DanChapman> :-) 10:40 <faenil> DanChapman: I'm not aware of the feature set of SplitView so can't really say. But what is it you're missing? just resizable columns with no APL behaviour? 10:45 <DanChapman> Yeah resizable columns and rows as well would be super, i would like it to have APL(like) behaviour but not be so dependent on the page tree. i.e replacing the left column page should not destroy the the right column page. It's what stops me using APL atm. 10:46 <faenil> rows? 10:46 <faenil> DanChapman: you should talk to zsombi, but I think SplitView should cover that. 10:47 <faenil> highlighted both of you on ubuntu-touch :) 10:48 <DanChapman> Yep resizable rows :-) heh ok :-) 10:51 <faenil> DanChapman: I think we're only talking about columns here. Not sure about rows 10:52 <DanChapman> Ack well columns would be fine to start with. Its easy enough to split a column, 10:53 <faenil> DanChapman: but I'd imagine SplitView { SplitView { mode: rows } } could be a possibility :D 10:53 <DanChapman> SplitView { 10:53 <faenil> DanChapman: maybe propose it as feature request 10:53 <DanChapman> rotate: 90 10:53 <DanChapman> } 10:53 <DanChapman> :-D 10:53 <faenil> hahaha 10:53 <faenil> then rotate content back? 10:54 <faenil> watch out, rotate might break the render batches 10:54 <faenil> (I saw an example of that just at QtCon, in the GammaRay session) 10:54 <faenil> (you can watch the video, it should be online) 10:55 <DanChapman> haha i wouldn't actually try that :-p. Oh are the QtCon sessions up now, i'll take a look. 10:56 <faenil> DanChapman: never say never! :D 11:03 <faenil> DanChapman: popey we done? :) 11:03 <DanChapman> :-D i think so... 11:04 <faenil> alright, hehe 11:04 * faenil runs 11:04 <faenil> take care chaps o/ 11:05 <DanChapman> Thanks faenil. Have fun o/ 11:05 <popey> thanks guys! 11:05 <popey> #endmeeting
