16:01 <popey> After the meeting yesterday rpadovani urged me to work on getting the reboot into the store to replace the existing app
16:01 <popey> I mailed product management & design to get approval for that.
16:01 <popey> Product manager (Joe) did some testing, and the bugs I filed today are the result
16:01 <popey> He has some difficulty with the "favorite" system
16:02 <popey> (which I did too when I installed cleanly)
16:02 <popey> But, in general, we got a +1 from Giorgio and a tentative +1 from Joe (once those bugs are fixed)

16:03 <popey> So I will request that QA test the app (knowing those existing bugs) so we can replace the old one with reboot as soon as possible.
16:03 <popey> But it would be good to keep an eye on the bugs coming in, as dpm, myself, joe and QA will be kicking the tyres on it over the next few days :)
16:03 <rpadovani> Anyway, bug 1428606 will be long to fix, because we already have implemented AbstractButtons. I think is a combination of how we use them, need to do tests

16:12 <gventuri> popey: yeah that works for us. We are working on a new design for the keypad which is more consistent between portrait and landscape

16:16 <popey> 1) Polish current reboot to make it perfect as it can be to replace the blue calculator.
16:16 <popey> 2) Iterate over the design with gventuri via the document and catch up with design regularly to update and plan.

16:22 <popey> I dont want us to spend ages implementing this and that, and that, and that, because we'll never end up getting it to the store
