15:05 <mihir> popey: i feel that before landing, if we can get someone's attention for advance function (Design vise) would be very good idea, otherwise we'll have to do lots of modification afterwards.

15:06 <popey> We have a short cycle to get the apps ready for release to manufacture, for Bq and Meizu
15:06 <popey> I don't have a date set, but it's a lot earlier than the 14.10 ship date.

15:07 <popey> So whatever we do, we have a short cycle to do it in.
15:07 <popey> Now, there's two sets of requirements coming in.
15:07 <popey> One from the product management and one from design

15:08 <popey> I have asked for product management to give us whatever feedback they have for all the core apps by the end of the week
15:08 <popey> that may well mean we have changes to make as a result
15:08 <popey> But I am not convinced, I expect the response will not be detailed
15:08 <popey> and it will be more like "Needs a working calculator" ☻
15:09 <popey> rather than any specifics about the detailed functions of the calculator.

15:10 <popey> I am going to get the head of apps design to join a hangout with the core apps (probably 2 per week) to get some design guidance from them.
15:10 <mihir> that would be a good idea.
15:10 <mihir> so that we don't endup doing repetative task again and again.
15:10 <popey> They are also updating design documentation

15:10 <popey> now we know that coming down the line is the new top bar
15:10 <popey> and the bottom edge interaction
15:10 <popey> but that's not all done yet.
15:11 <mihir> so if we can get that confirmation as soon  as we can , we can start implementing those on calculator for advace functions.
15:11 <popey> Well, I don't think it's a problem implementing the advanced function branch

15:11 <popey> so it isnt like it would be undone later, it's just a really nice feature that a developer was kind enough to take time to create
