We have changes merged into the folderlistmodel that ubuntu-filemanager-app will be using. 19:06 <vthompson> We did so without impact to them. 19:07 <vthompson> I thought we were having issues getting that folderlistmodel built in the PPA, but it appears to be an issue caused by having an old version of the SDK 19:07 <vthompson> SO, I think that is fully resolved and the music-app is now fully usable in the PPA! 19:08 <popey> great news 19:08 <vthompson> There is one small outstanding issue, and that is that the ubuntu-filemanager-app is still using the older version of the plugin. So when a user has ubuntu-filemanager-app installed music-app can't be installed 19:08 <popey> ok, we need to fix that 19:09 <vthompson> I have a bug written (#1191364) and a merge request in their queue. It's a small dependency fix 19:09 <popey> brilliant. nice one 19:09 <vthompson> It's been a busy morning :) 19:09 <popey> ☻ 19:10 <vthompson> I unfortunately started spamming other core apps projects because I my old SDK issue was causing other apps not to load. I hope I did not cause anyone undue panic. 19:10 <popey> heh, it happens 19:10 <vthompson> I know Daniel will be working on scrobble support. 19:11 <popey> yes. 19:11 <vthompson> I also know there's been discussion with the design team. Any UI work will probably be put on hold until we flush some of that out. We've already jumbled the UI numerous times... it's counterproductive 19:11 <popey> yeah, best to work on the backend stuff until the UI is ready. 19:12 <popey> are there any work items which need their status updating? 19:12 <vthompson> One of the TODOs that I want to knock out is playlists. I think that is relatively independent of the UI 19:12 <popey> or perhaps any we can move up, now we're waiting for design? 19:12 <vthompson> let me check 19:12 <popey> Yeah, playlist support works around a few potential sticky issues 19:13 <vthompson> I think I'd also like to try getting U1 streaming investigation underway. 19:13 <popey> thats a good idea 19:13 <vthompson> But I don't think there are any items to cross off in the blueprint. 19:13 <popey> if there's any U1 questions you may have, I can find the right people to help 19:14 <vthompson> We did sort of review Lucas's proposals. But they may be OBE. I'd like to make sure Lucas gets to work with the design team. He did excellent work. 19:15 <vthompson> If you could email me some lp user IDs in one of the active email threads that'd be helpful. 19:15 <popey> ~sil is the first person I'd poke 19:16 <vthompson> Perfect, we're already acquainted. 19:16 <popey> he no longer works for canonical, but knows the stuff well 19:16 <popey> the only other thing that needs attention is the autopilot tests, which may be tricky while the UI is in flux 19:17 <balloons> indeed, I'd love to get some perspective on AP tests 19:17 <vthompson> Agreed. That was my concern 2 weeks ago. I could certainly start on them. There is some basic packaging that needs to be put in place. I could at least do that. 19:17 <balloons> music is one of the apps that doesn't have any progress yet 19:18 * balloons waves hello :-) 19:18 <vthompson> I'll change that for you this week. :) 19:18 <popey> balloons has been tasked with making sure all the apps have great test coverage 19:18 <popey> so he's motivated to pop up whenever I say "autopilot" in these meetings 19:18 <popey> thanks vthompson 19:18 <balloons> vthompson, wonderful to hear.. please do let me know if you need any help.. And have a look at the emulator if you haven't seen it. It makes life easier 19:19 <vthompson> Will do 19:20 <vthompson> Anything else we'd like to see progress on? 19:20 <popey> thats really the only thing I'm concerned about, AP tests and backend stuff. 19:20 <popey> "concern" is the wrong word 19:21 <vthompson> Ok, I'll prioritize AP, playlists, and U1 stuff as necessary. Daniel will continue on scrobbling and perhaps some localstorage work. 19:21 <popey> Great! 19:23 <popey> Ok, I didnt have anything else.. 19:23 <popey> Any issues you have, you know where we are! 19:24 <vthompson> That I do, thanks everyone! 19:24 <popey> Have a great weekend. 19:24 <popey> #endmeeting
