14:31 <didrocks> o/
14:31 <seb128> tjaalton, the power button behaviour shouldn't have change no, that's in an Ubuntu (GNOME) session?
14:31 <seb128> k, let's get started
14:31 <jibel> o/
14:31 <seb128> #topic rls-bb-bug
14:31 <seb128> http://reqorts.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/rls-mgr/rls-bb-incoming-bug-tasks.html
14:32 <luna_> Fix Committed
14:32 <kenvandine> o/
14:32 <seb128> also it affects only bionic and fix is uploaded
14:32 <seb128> I untagged now
14:32 <tjaalton> seb128: yes, I'll file abug
14:32 <seb128> http://reqorts.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/rls-mgr/rls-bb-tracking-bug-tasks.html
14:32 <seb128> tjaalton, thanks
14:33 <seb128> only unassigned is the same wpa one
14:33 <seb128> #topic rls-ff-bug
14:33 <seb128> http://reqorts.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/rls-mgr/rls-ff-incoming-bug-tasks.html
14:33 <seb128> k, just noise that needs untagging there
14:33 <seb128> http://reqorts.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/rls-mgr/rls-ff-tracking-bug-tasks.html
14:33 <seb128> bug #1901609
14:33 <ubot5> bug 1901609 in signon (Ubuntu Hirsute) "signond causes qprocess crash" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1901609
14:34 <seb128> that's on our report because we used that in unity time
14:34 <seb128> that's a kde issue it seems
14:34 <seb128> -1 for us to take on that one since it doesn't impact our desktop
14:35 <luna_> but try to notify KDE Neon or Kubuntu developers about it?
14:35 <seb128> yes, also seems like there is a suggested fix, I'm going to subscribe sponsors
14:36 <seb128> -1 from me, other opinions?
14:36 <hellsworth> i would say -1 unless it causes a crash increase in errors.u.c
14:37 <seb128> RikMills, ^ is that one you could handle perhaps?
14:37 <hellsworth> like a large increase. enough to warrant attention
14:37 <seb128> doesn't seem so
14:37 <seb128> k, let's decline for us and move on
14:37 <luna_> yeah try to give it to RikMills and jriddel maybe and the people that does KDE based things
14:38 <seb128> that's it for focal
14:38 <seb128> #topic rls-gg-bug
14:38 <seb128> the one there is assigned and fix commited upstream so needs untagging
14:38 <seb128> http://reqorts.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/rls-mgr/rls-gg-tracking-bug-tasks.html
14:39 <seb128> bluez on is incomplete and not for us
14:39 <seb128> signon we just discussed
14:39 <seb128> bug #1903574
14:39 <ubot5> bug 1903574 in appstream (Ubuntu Groovy) "isenkram-lookup crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast()" [Medium,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1903574
14:39 <seb128> Gunnar cares about it but I'm -1 for our team
14:40 <seb128> isenkram-lookup isn't something really used
14:40 <RikMills> seb128: neon devs have already pinged me about signod. I will try to get to it this week
14:40 <seb128> and it seems to be a bug in gobject-introspection and being discussed
14:40 <RikMills> *signond
14:40 <oSoMoN> it'd be good to know whether there are other more common ways to trigger this crash
14:40 <seb128> RikMills, can I assign it to you? it's showing on our report because it's targetted and unassigned
14:40 <RikMills> feel free
14:40 <seb128> RikMills, thx
14:41 <seb128> the patch seems trivial, removing a compiler flag from the build system
14:41 <luna_> i have never even heard isenkram but it seems like the Upstream developers is working on it: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gobject-introspection/-/issues/305
14:42 <seb128> let's skip until we get more details, it seems worked on anyway
14:42 <seb128> that's it for G
14:42 <seb128> #topic rls-hh-bug
14:42 <seb128> http://reqorts.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/rls-mgr/rls-hh-incoming-bug-tasks.html
14:42 <seb128> bug #1785262
14:42 <ubot5> bug 1785262 in libreoffice (Ubuntu) "arm64 autopkgtests are flaky" [Medium,Triaged] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1785262
14:42 <seb128> L_aney tagged this one
14:42 <hellsworth> just assigned myself
14:42 <seb128> it has an impact on infra and I think we should fix but I'm -1 on rls
14:43 <seb128> it's not impacting users and not an ubuntu release target issue
14:43 <seb128> hellsworth, thanks
14:43 <seb128> do people think it needs to be targetted or not?
14:43 <hellsworth> i pointed r_icotz too to get his opinion. i don't think it needs to be targeted
14:43 <seb128> thx
14:44 <hellsworth> well but it should be fixed by april though just because that's a long time
14:44 <hellsworth> so maybe we should target it..
14:44 <oSoMoN> no need for targetting indeed
14:44 <luna_> it depends on how many people use libreoffice on ARM64 on Raspberry Pis, Banana Boards, Beagleboards and all that they are called i guess, but as long as its stable and works for when a new image is released
14:45 <seb128> yeah, it's more an infrastructure issue
14:45 <hellsworth> i vote -1 for targeting and will work on it anyways
14:45 <seb128> the tests are slow and eat resources
14:45 <seb128> seems reasonable, I've tagged notfixing wiht a comment
14:46 <seb128> http://reqorts.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/rls-mgr/rls-hh-tracking-bug-tasks.html
14:46 <seb128> the signond one
14:46 <hellsworth> thanks
14:46 <luna_> +1 hellsworth you know best i am not doing ARM things, only ISO testing x64 images and helping with Swedish translations a voluenteer :p
14:46 <hellsworth> thanks luna_ :)
14:46 <seb128> others are assigned
14:47 <seb128> #topic update_excuses_by_team.html#desktop-packages
14:47 <seb128> https://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/proposed-migration/update_excuses_by_team.html#desktop-packages
14:47 <seb128> k, that list is still not reviewable, perl and python transitions are ongoing
14:47 <seb128> I'm on +1 rotation today and tomorrow so will review it and note things if needed
14:47 <seb128> #topic AOB
14:47 <seb128> anything else?
14:47 <luna_> There was a newer mesa today for the others i don't have any comments
14:48 <luna_> was wondering about December meetings? Are we/you gonna have them the whole December, or is there any xmas/new years break and such?
14:49 <seb128> depends of when people are off
14:49 <kenvandine> we won't have a meeting on the 29th
14:49 <seb128> but we will probably at least skip the 29th
14:49 <luna_> ah alright
14:50 <seb128> anything else?
14:51 <seb128> seems not, then it's a wrap!
14:51 <seb128> thanks everyone
