nice <reply> 'Nice' is a property of a process that determines how willing it is to give CPU time to other processes. A higher value makes it more likely to give away time. A negative value makes it less likely. Values are from -19 to 19, with 0 being the default. For more information, type 'man nice' at a terminal. Added by Seveas
