picard a digital audio fingerprinting/tagging program using the MusicBrainz online music database, not unlike freedb. It can be used to identify *and* tag files in your music collection. filenames case <reply> File names in Ubuntu are case sensitive, MyFile is not the same as myfile, and if you put spaces in there and use a console you need to "escape" the space, thus "gedit My\ File.txt" Added by ompaul
