20:02 <popey> How are you both?
20:02 <Letozaf_> popey, I'm fine thanks an you (both)?
20:02 <popey> fine thanks :)
20:03 <CarlosMazieri> fine thanks
20:03 <popey> super.
20:04 <popey> I uploaded the latest file manager to the store recently.
20:04 <popey> The sdcard detection still needs finishing I think.
20:04 <popey> It shows up loads of places (due to the silly number of mount points)
20:04 <popey> arto was working on that, right?
20:05 <CarlosMazieri> yea, I thought he was going to do that, but I am afraid he did not
20:05 <popey> ok, I'll ping him a mail and see where he got to with it
20:05 <CarlosMazieri> ok,
20:07 <popey> OK, done.
20:07 <popey> Any progress to report elsewhere?
20:07 <CarlosMazieri> I am testing samba browsing, it needs some adjustments
20:08 <popey> ok. Any significant blockers?
20:08 <CarlosMazieri> I am using libsmbclient and it looks like it does not bring information for folders like dates or permission
20:10 <CarlosMazieri> do you someone who has used libsmbclient?
20:11 <popey> I don't. I'd be inclined to scour the archive for packages which depend on that package.
20:11 <popey> and see who maintains them.
20:11 <popey> and see if they work!
20:11 <popey> something like python3-smbc
20:11 <popey> http://cyberelk.net/tim/software/pysmbc/
20:12 <CarlosMazieri> OK, will do some research on it
20:12 <popey> but that might not be a good example as it's mostly used for printer querying
20:12 <popey> I'll ask around, and see what I can find too.
20:12 <CarlosMazieri> thanks, I think only filemanagers do that.
20:13 <popey> hmm.. do any other qt file managers use it?
20:14 <CarlosMazieri> I do not know
20:15 <popey> interestingly "aptitude why libsmbclient" tells me kde-runtime needs it
20:16 <popey> also, looks like vlc at some point used it
20:16 <popey> probably for reading movie files from a remote host
20:17 <popey> vlc-plugin-samba is the package that pulls it in
20:17 <popey> dunno if that's any use
20:21 <popey> So, I didn't actually have anything else to mention.
20:21 <CarlosMazieri> I do not have either
20:22 <Letozaf_> I also have nothing
20:23 <popey> ok!
20:23 <popey> Great!
20:23 <popey> Thank you, see you next week!
20:24 <Letozaf_> bye
20:24 <CarlosMazieri> thank you all
20:24 <Letozaf_> :)
