 15:17 <popey> docviewer is gplv3, we're interested in using https://github.com/sailfishos/sailfish-office (which is based on Caligra) and is GPL v2 only (not 'or higher')

 15:19 <mhall119> (A) Ask them to separate the reusable parts and re-license them as LGPL (v2 or v3, doesn't matter)

 15:19 <mhall119> (B) Ask them to re-license the whole thing at GPLv3

 15:19 <mhall119> (C) Relicense all of our app at GPLv2

 15:20 <mhall119> I *think* we can license ours at "GPLv2 or higher" and still incorporate their "GPLv2 only" code, as long as people know they can't re-license those parts under an "or higher" license
