13:13 <nik90> it takes time to do that and from the user's experience feels a bit laggy
13:13 <nik90> I know it was done for performance use cases
13:14 <nik90> but it shouldn't come at the cost of a user noticing it
13:14 <mihir> kunal: it happens randomly, say if it is fresh start..once it is load it doesn't happen :| and that too sometime
13:14 <kunal> nik90, switching view , will destroy old view and create new one
13:14 <kunal> while creating new view, it will create model and refresh happens
13:15 <nik90> that refresh is painfully slow :/

13:15 <nik90> I was basically using the calendar app for a few days as the primary calendar app and noticed those issues
13:15 <nik90> I also noticed that when I created an event for 15:00, it shows in my google calendar at 13:00

13:17 <kunal> for that issue, we need to confirm if we are saving timezone properly in EDS
13:17 <nik90> mihir: btw we should now stop any further redesigns and just focus on the core experience (like events loading, bug fixes etc)
