So this week I implemented support for alarm settings. This will provide more granular control over alarms like the alarm volume, how long the alarm should keep ringing 16:49 that will be very welcome! 16:49 and the indicator-datetime will take this into account when triggering the alarm 16:50 I think we still need a platform fix for the alarm. Currently all sounds on the phone are played in one stream. I believe rsalvetti is planning to split them into several channels so that we can control the alarm volume 16:50 Hopefully we will know more in the next week. 16:51 And with the help of mzanetti we have implemented almost 60% of the world clocks backend. We now list the world clocks and their local time correctly. 16:51 Now I just need to add support for adding the cities that the user chose on u1db and then display them on the main page 16:52 Ok. 16:53 balloons got carla sella working on the autopilot stuff for the new clock app in parallel 16:53 Great. 16:54 I would need dpm to set up the translation framework for the new clock app so that we can start requesting translations 16:54 I tried doing that this morning, but didnt get too far with the cmake stuff again :P 16:55 ok, dpm is that something on your radar? 16:57 when do you think you might have the world clocks in the store for testing? 16:58 hopefully at the end of next week? 16:59 great! 17:00 How about autolanding? I guess we need to wait for AP tests for that? 17:00 no we need debian packaging for it 17:00 I talked to Francis and he said jenkins only works with packages that have debian packaging 17:01 ah okay. 17:01 it isn't a high priority for me since the click package met my needs for now 17:01 but yeah we should get to that 17:01 oh btw, the new clock app will not run on trusty. It requires utopic 17:02 thats fine. 17:03 sorry, just making notes.. 17:03 np, I was thinking if there was anything else in my mind 17:04 Giorgio the designer who did the presentation at malta is back from hols. He said he will test and provide feedback as well 17:04 great! 17:06 I can see you being busy for the next couple of weeks, you have plenty of time available for this? 17:06 hopefully yes 17:07 once I get the world clocks in, I think we should be mostly ready 17:07 ok good stuff. 17:07 from then on, it will be hopefully more relaxing 17:07 I am on vacation next week, but dpm / balloons and mhall119 will be around of course. 17:07 ok 17:07 I will be using the app while on holiday ㋛ 17:07 :P 17:08 who else do I ping for an update in the store? 17:08 dholbach? 17:08 you shouldn't need to, but dholbach can do that, yes. 17:08 we all get emailed whenever a click gets updated 17:09 ok 17:11 That was it from my end 17:11 Ok, great. Thanks for the update. 17:11 Enjoy your vacation 17:11 Do let us know if you need anything. 17:11 Will do 17:11 Thanks ㋛ 17:11 hopefully when you get back, you can add other cities 17:11 \o/ 17:12 #endmeeting
