18:34 <mhall119> first some links
18:34 <mhall119> Bugs: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-weather-app
18:34 <mhall119> Blueprint: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu-phone-commons/+spec/initial-weather-development
18:35 <mhall119> Burndown: http://status.ubuntu.com/coreapps-13.10/ubuntu-weather-dev-coreapps-13.10-month-2.html
18:35 <mhall119> so we have 5 open bugs currentlyu
18:36 <roman2861_> 2 from 5 were fixed by me.
18:36 <mhall119> which two?
18:36 <roman2861_> https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-weather-app/+bug/1182188
18:37 <roman2861_> https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-weather-app/+bug/1187312 - I did another launch window
18:37 <roman2861_> So, can I report?
18:37 <mhall119> roman2861_: sure
18:38 <roman2861_> About first bug: i create a dialog, in which user can choose scale.
18:39 <roman2861_> Please, tell me: can you see a screenshots which i'll post?
18:39 <roman2861_> http://cs322618.vk.me/v322618788/104e/H-FSYG79qeY.jpg
18:39 <mhall119> yeah, I can see it
18:40 <roman2861_> Sorry, not this picture:)
18:40 <roman2861_> http://cs417217.vk.me/v417217788/5030/xeqe1QXXSqo.jpg
18:41 <mhall119> roman2861_: and where is the setting being stored?
18:42 <roman2861_> Now in toolbar.
18:42 <roman2861_> http://cs417217.vk.me/v417217788/5044/MJEFM6sVE6U.jpg
18:42 <mhall119> does it store the selection on disk somewhere? or do you have to re-set it every time you open the app?
18:43 <roman2861_> In localstorage, of course))
18:43 * mhall119 is browsing through the MP
18:44 <mhall119> roman2861_: first off, it looks like a lot has been changed in this one MP, it's better to submit separate features/fixes/chances as separate MPs
18:44 <mhall119> otherwise, if one of them needs more work, it will stop the others from being accepted
18:44 <roman2861_> Sorry, but I'm a newbie.
18:45 <mhall119> that's okay, we all had to learn it some time :)
18:45 <roman2861_> This is my first work
18:45 <mhall119> hey,that's great!
18:45 <roman2861_> So, let's go to the second improvement?
18:45 <mhall119> ok, I'll go through this MP and leave comments for you, then if you could take thos comments and submit te different changes you're making as separate MPs, that will make it easier to review and approve them
18:47 <roman2861_> So, next improvement - dialog for newbies. When you start app in the first time, you'll see this dialog: http://cs7004.vk.me/c417217/v417217788/503a/JH6_j38S99Y.jpg
18:48 <mhall119> roman2861_: have you seen the key journeys post from the Design team?
18:48 <mhall119> http://design.canonical.com/2013/03/app-patterns-applied-weather-key-journeys/
18:48 <mhall119> there they give an idea of how they wanted the app to work
18:49 <mhall119> the visuals are not the final look though, but the user's workflow is
18:49 <roman2861_> I saw all, except launch menu.
18:50 <mhall119> ok
18:51 <mhall119> alright, next order of business, we're going to create work items and bugs for each Autopilot test we want to add to this app
18:51 <mhall119> I've started a list here: http://pad.ubuntu.com/rHMaCpyJ2y
18:51 <mhall119> balloons: ^^
18:51 <roman2861_> One of the variants of that menu - the nearest locations. I think, that when user start application in the first time, he must see a greetings and we must describe what user must to do.
18:51 <mhall119> roman2861_: are there any other areas of functionality you think should have tests?
18:51 <balloons> bah the pad dc'd me ;-_)
18:51 <mhall119> roman2861_: we should ask for the design team's input on the greeting
18:51 <roman2861_> Yes
18:52 <roman2861_> https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-weather-app/+bug/1182188
18:52 <mhall119> roman2861_: you should be able to edit the etherpad, so just add any other tests you think we should have
18:52 <roman2861_> Ok
18:52 <roman2861_> I'll do it after report
18:52 <mhall119> ok
18:52 <mhall119> you have more to your report?
18:53 <roman2861_> If you click on the "Go" button, you'll be moved to the choose scale dialog
18:53 <roman2861_> Yes, I have more to report
18:53 <roman2861_> 3 improvement - Choose Location Dialog
18:54 <roman2861_> I added interactivity.
18:54 <mhall119> I saw that, why would you want to do that?
18:54 <mhall119> make a location inactive
18:54 <mhall119> rather than just deleting it
18:55 <roman2861_> That = improvements to the project?)
18:56 <mhall119> specifically the improvement to make them inactive
18:56 <roman2861_> Not inactive - interactive.
18:56 <mhall119> oh, ok, I misunderstood
18:57 <roman2861_> So, then you press on the search button, you'll see a notice: "Please, wait".
18:57 <mhall119> ok, makes sense
18:57 <roman2861_> http://cs417217.vk.me/v417217788/5058/ujcdyJDeG54.jpg
18:57 <mhall119> so we only have a few minutes left in this meeting slot, I will go through your entire merge proposal and add comments
18:58 <roman2861_> Ok.
18:58 <mhall119> then we'll work on splitting it into smaller MPs and getting those approved
18:58 <roman2861_> MP?
18:58 <mhall119> merge proposal
18:58 <roman2861_> Thanks
18:58 <mhall119> no problem, thank you for the contributions
18:58 <balloons> so roman2861_ I'll be nabbing everything in that pad and turning it into a bug.. Each bug then will be a needed test for autopilot for the weather app. we'll track the bugs then and try and get them all closed so the test is complete and covers everything :-)
18:58 <mhall119> oh, did you fill out the contributor agreement form?
18:59 <mhall119> balloons: can you give him the link to how to write autopilot tests?
18:59 <roman2861_> yes
18:59 <mhall119> roman2861_: great, thanks
19:00 <balloons> roman2861_, yes.. here's the links if you haven't seen them
