Information about MeetBot at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/meetingology. 16:34 16:34 Available commands: action commands idea info link nick 16:34 The meeting agenda can be found at: 16:34 [LINK] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SecurityTeam/Meeting 16:34 [TOPIC] Weekly stand-up report 16:34 * tyhicks kicks the bot 16:35 mdeslaur: you're up 16:35 I'm on community this week 16:35 I have patch piloting tomorrow 16:35 and I'm working on an embargoed issue 16:35 that's it, sbeattie, you're up 16:35 I'm on bug triage this week 16:36 I'm working on testing glibc updates, trying to figure out what breaks with pt_chown disabled. 16:37 I've got a kernel USN to write I guess (not sure what the kernel team did there) 16:37 I've got some apparmor stuff to do (patch review) 16:38 That's probably it for me this week 16:38 tyhicks: you're up 16:38 I'm on cve triage this week 16:38 apparmor 2.10.95 landed in xenial over night so I'll be watching for any issues there 16:39 I have some ubuntu-core-launcher MPs to review for jdstrand 16:39 still have some pending ecryptfs patch reviews 16:40 would also like to do some triaging/updates for Touch 16:40 that's it for me 16:40 sarnold: you're up 16:40 sorry 16:40 jjohansen: you're up 16:40 \o/ apparmor landing 16:41 I'm still working on apparmor this week 16:41 you say that like there is an end in sight :) 16:41 I have an upstream patchset of bug fixes to finish putting together and push up 16:43 and then it will be back to fixing bugs and issues in the newly landed apparmor 3.5 16:44 and of course watching for any issues that may surface from 2.10.95 landing 16:44 thats it for me sarnold you are up 16:44 i'm in the happy place this week 16:45 I'm working on mirs, neutron-vpnaas, aodh, barbican, designate, it's unlikely I'll get them all this week but I might get lucky, aodh is apparenhtly a piece from ceilometer 16:45 and I'd like to test out shiny new apparmor stacking 16:46 that's it for me, chrisccoulson? 16:46 Last week I made quite a bit of progress on automated testing in Oxide (I got all of our existing QML tests also running in single-process, which means we can officially support that now) 16:47 nice! 16:47 I plan to do more of the same this week - I'm adding some compiled unit-tests for bits of the API (most of our existing tests are more integration tests than unit tests). Then I plan to add a framework for writing unit-tests for internal classes 16:48 I need to also do some feature work (not much of that has happened over the last couple of weeks). I'll probably be experimenting with scrollbars to see how we can support the design requirements for those 16:48 And there's probably going to be a Firefox update 16:48 That's me done 16:50 thanks 16:50 [TOPIC] Highlighted packages 16:50 The Ubuntu Security team will highlight some community-supported packages that might be good candidates for updating and or triaging. If you would like to help Ubuntu and not sure where to start, this is a great way to do so. 16:50 See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SecurityTeam/UpdateProcedures for details and if you have any questions, feel free to ask in #ubuntu-security.
