14:34 <willcooke> Happy new year!
14:34 <kenvandine> o/
14:34 <willcooke> Ok, so this will probably be a very short meeting
14:35 <willcooke> Everyone was on holiday, so not much in the way of weekly updates
14:35 <jibel> o/
14:35 <willcooke> Ive looked at the rls bugs, not much to see there
14:35 <willcooke> BB Incoming is clear
14:36 <willcooke> CC Incoming is clear
14:36 <willcooke> DD Incoming is clear
14:37 <willcooke> Just looking at the tracking bugs
14:38 <willcooke> BB has a few, but they all look like they are in hand
14:38 <willcooke> This one has an open question: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-applet/+bug/1807460
14:38 <ubot5> Ubuntu bug 1807460 in network-manager-applet (Ubuntu Bionic) "Filenames with spaces not accepted when connecting to certificate-authenticated wifi" [Undecided,Incomplete]
14:39 <seb128> I'm dealing with it
14:39 <tjaalton> oops, o/
14:39 <willcooke> thanks seb128
14:39 <willcooke> Everything else is in hand by the looks of things
14:40 <willcooke> Laney, do you want to take us through the proposed-migration list?
14:40 <kenvandine> :-D
14:40 <willcooke> https://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/proposed-migration/update_excuses_by_team.html#desktop-packages
14:40 <Laney> k
14:41 <Laney> things that I think need someone assigning are
14:41 <Laney> ubuntu-make tests, libtheora tests, promoting nautilus stuff, glib2.0 build failure
14:42 * Laney will look at the last one, perhaps jbicha reported that somewhere already
14:42 <jbicha> I didn't report yet
14:42 <Laney> k nm
14:43 <willcooke> Ubuntu Make tests, didrocks do you know if there is an active community maintainer for that? I dropped an email to who I thought it was but didnt hear back. It was over xmas though
14:44 <didrocks> willcooke: I doubt he's really active or will know what to do with the ssl issue
14:44 <seb128> I can look at the nautilus promotion
14:44 <didrocks> can be as simple as test certificates expering
14:44 <didrocks> or maybe will be way more complex and a python changes being API backward incompatible
14:45 <willcooke> is the Make one affecting anything else atm? Is it a high priority issue?
14:45 <didrocks> (which already happened in the ssl modules, even the third digit "patch fix" serie has broken one)
14:45 <didrocks> willcooke: I think it's blocking some pygobject promotion from what I see
14:45 <seb128> I don't think it's blocking anything else
14:45 <seb128> ah
14:45 <willcooke> hehe
14:46 <seb128> right, holidays wiped my memory about that :p
14:46 <didrocks> (apport as well is blocking it btw)
14:46 <seb128> (I think apport goes down to valgrind needing to be fixed at this point that got assigned to Dimitri by Steve yesterday)
14:47 <didrocks> ok, so it's only Ubuntu Make
14:47 <willcooke> didrocks, would you mind adding it to your list for when you get a chance to look at it?
14:47 <didrocks> willcooke: if we agree to delay the isntaller work, yes
14:47 <didrocks> but it can mean a week pushing off, and we are already late on it
14:48 <didrocks> (last ssl issue was a week of debugging, hence that value)
14:48 <didrocks> and the issue was python itself
14:48 <willcooke> Well, if you can take a very quick look to see if it's easy, and if not... then we can revisit
14:48 <didrocks> define "very quick" please :)
14:48 <willcooke> didrocks, 3 hours
14:48 <seb128> that's not quick :p
14:48 <didrocks> k, let's see if I can get anything by this
14:49 <willcooke> thx
14:49 <seb128> thx didrocks
14:49 <willcooke> Who can look at the libtheora one?
14:49 <seb128> didrocks, if you know how to easily check if it's an expired certificate issue or a real bug just do that, if it's a real bug let's revisit who can own it?
14:50 <didrocks> seb128: I don't know, I have to look back at the code which certificate is used first
14:50 <didrocks> so, need digging
14:50 <seb128> k
14:50 <didrocks> then browsing on the web
14:50 <seb128> so what willcooke said
14:50 <seb128> not more than a couple hours
14:50 <seb128> then we revisit
14:50 <didrocks> 3 hours is short already to get that
14:51 <seb128> willcooke, I can look at libtheora, seems to be due to valgrind as well
14:51 <didrocks> or anyone else be my guest and be quicker ;)
14:51 <willcooke> thanks seb128
14:51 <willcooke> k, that takes care of the list
14:51 <willcooke> #topic AOB
14:51 <willcooke> Anyone got anything they'd like to talk about?
14:52 <willcooke> 5
14:52 <willcooke> 4
14:52 <andyrock> nope
14:52 <willcooke> #endmeeting
