Recompiled with ldc, and seems more stable now. See for yourself: http://appstream.staging.ubuntu.com/ 15:40 ∘ todo: backport appstream, ldc, debhelper, dh-autoreconf, build with ldc. 15:40 • Made the MIR report show Fix Released bugs so you can see which ones are just re-promotions 15:40 • Reviewed hidpi icons branch and fixed some errors, to land after the beta. 15:40 • Poked at guest session breakage and punted to the security team. 15:40 • Some work on OnlyShowIn/NotShowIn/DesktopNames stuff, so we can hide the new Terminal in Unity 8. This turned out to be a massive rabbit hole, but I know what to do now. 15:40 • FFe and queue reviews. 15:40 • Tested and synced the glib stable release. 15:40 • Some work on rls-y bugs: 15:40 ∘ Fixed a crash on i386 in gnome-software, and uploaded to X/Y. 15:40 ∘ Checked out a gvfs patch for properly showing removable drives and cherry-picked that. 15:40 🚼 15:40 thanks Laney 15:40 #topic qengho 15:41 * Chromium 53.0.2785.113 debugging on Yakkety. Not memory allocator. Little progress. 15:41 * Chromium rpi crash. Maybe some NEON instructions? Maybe. 15:41 * browsers & Google API. Rotated. Disabled keys. Still errors. Trying to find a human to help make sense of it. 15:41 EOF 15:41 thanks qengho, let me know what you find out 15:41 Will do Will. 15:41 #topic Sweet5hark1 15:42 . 15:42 - three days PTO (Wed, Thu, Fri) 15:42 - sprint travel prep 15:42 - LibreOffice 5.2.2~rc2 to ppa 15:42 - LibreOffice 5.2.2~rc2 to snap (edge, beta, candidate channels) 15:42 - some upstream mentoring and advise on commit I did earlier 15:42 EOF 15:42 thanks Sweet5hark1 15:42 #topic TheMuso 15:42 * Continued working on bug 1574324. Thanks to Simon's help, we have somewhere to start adding debugging messages to get to the problem. Through a log I obtained thanks to getting some hardware that exhibits the problem, as well as logs from other users over time, I've already started back tracking and reading the code to get to the bottom. 15:42 * Built a package for the reporter of bug 1608820 to test, similar to the above bug, disabled the bluetooth ubuntu touch packages to see if the bug is still present with vanilla upstream pulse 9 code. 15:42 * Started planing for 17.04, further accessibility profile manager improvements, unity 8 accessibility, which will likely be the focus, and will be a multi-cycle project. 15:42 * I also plan to do some iso testing in the coming week, to check accessibility and accessibility profiles making sure things work well enough there. 15:42 bug 1574324 in pulseaudio (Ubuntu) "pulseaudio crashes when connecting to bluetooth headphones (due to ubuntu changes?)"
