15:39 <willcooke> #topic Laney
15:39 <Laney> • Tried to work with some CI and other people to unblock / investigate boottest failures which are bl0x0ring things in wily-proposed
15:39 <Laney> • Related, help nudge along the platform-api transition
15:39 <Laney> • webkit2: work on software-center, seems kind of working now, not finished
15:39 <Laney> • Check out gnome-keyring with the new gnome3 pinentry instead of its internal agent, mail to -desktop, required some fixes in gpg
15:40 <Laney> • Fix a broken glib test upstream (thanks larsu), cherry-pick it, upload to exp, sync to wily
15:40 <Laney> • File libgom MIR; update grilo-plugins to use this; fix a bug upstream; make totem use this now.
15:40 <Laney>15:40 <larsu> Laney: thanks for mentioning that. I tend to forget those small things in my weeklies :)
15:40 <willcooke> thx Laney
15:41 <willcooke> #topic larsu
15:41 <larsu> - updated overlay scrollbar branch (testing and further design appreciated)
15:41 <larsu> - tracked down our hidpi icon sizing issues to a single gtk commit. unclear how to fix yet
15:41 <larsu> - theming! (file-roller, nautilus)
15:41 <larsu> - what Laney said
15:41 <larsu> - some misc gnome bugs
15:41 <larsu> </larsu>
15:41 <seb128> what's the branch to test?
15:42 <larsu> seb128: lp:~larsu/ubuntu-themes/overlay-scrollbars
15:42 <seb128> danke
15:42 * willcooke will try that in a vm too
15:42 <larsu> that message dialog linked button problem is probably a gtk bug as wlel
15:42 <larsu> happens in all themes
15:42 <seb128> oh, right
15:42 <seb128> :-/
15:42 <larsu> I also looked into not expanding those for us
15:42 <larsu> but might be tricky, as apps do that
15:42 <larsu> so either we never expand button boxes or we patch apps
15:43 <seb128> would we have many apps to patch?
15:43 <larsu> don't know
15:43 <larsu> my first not-very-thorough search didn't find more issues like this
15:44 <seb128> I guess let's start by not doing anything and see if that's an issue
15:44 <larsu> but who know, you know
15:44 <larsu> *who knows
15:44 <seb128> right
15:44 <larsu> so keep the expanded ones?
15:44 <seb128> I guess so
15:44 <larsu> expanded/linked
15:44 <larsu> ok
15:44 <willcooke> fin?
15:44 <larsu> ya, sorryt
15:44 <willcooke> :) nw
15:44 <willcooke> #topic qengho
15:45 <qengho> Hey!
15:45 <qengho> * Discussions
15:45 <qengho> ** Distribute Widevine and get Netflix support? Cr 44 should make it possible to use!
15:45 <qengho> ** Some Firefox support chatter.
15:45 <qengho> * I gave chromium-browser T+ to Chris for upload.
15:45 <qengho> * Looked into glibc compatible shim for Precise release. Will work on P more soon.
15:45 <qengho> * chromium/ozone/mir again. Starting to loathe C++.
15:45 <qengho> EOF
15:45 <seb128> qengho, do you need a wily sponsor?
15:46 <qengho> seb128: Chris can handle it.
15:46 <seb128> or is chris handling that was well?
15:46 <seb128> good
15:46 <willcooke> qengho, what news of Mir?
15:46 <willcooke> ok
15:46 <willcooke> ignore
15:46 <willcooke> I see
15:46 <willcooke> thanks qengho
15:47 <willcooke> #topic seb128

15:48 <willcooke> #topic Sweet5hark
15:48 <Sweet5hark> - fixed regression from a patch I reviewed upstream
15:48 <Sweet5hark> - now at regressioncountzero from my own commits, or those I bear a resposibility for by affiliation or as a reviewer as far as I know (ignorance is a bliss!)
15:48 <Sweet5hark> - tested/ported LibreOffice 4.4.4~rc3 forward to wily: seemed trivial, though not smoketested yet
15:48 <Sweet5hark> - patch backporting to precise
15:48 <Sweet5hark> - bug report grinding and overlooking at launchpad and bugs.documentfoundation.org
15:48 <Sweet5hark> EOF
15:48 <willcooke> thx Sweet5hark
15:49 <willcooke> #topic tkamppeter
15:49 * desrt eyes his internet connection with suspicion
15:49 <tkamppeter> - Ghostscript: Looked into syncing it with Debian again, packaged 9.16 based on Debian, which works technically but requires several MIRs
15:49 <tkamppeter> - MIRs for Ghostscript: openjpeg, libtrio, libregexp-assemble-perl, libimage-exiftool-perl
15:49 <tkamppeter> - Thoughts about upstream future of ippusbxd
15:49 <tkamppeter> - Bugs.
15:49 <willcooke> thanks tkamppeter
15:49 <willcooke> #topic TheMuso
15:50 <willcooke> * Continued working on refactoring a11y profile code in casper, about to start working on how things will be broken out per flavour, such that the settings package for each flavour will carry accessibility profile settings specific to that flavour.
15:50 <willcooke> * Ran into a bug with regards to the use of GNOME screensaver and unity. GNOME screensaver is still used when Orca is being used, due to the Unity lock screen not being properly accessible yet. After a recent upgrade, found I could not unlock my desktop via gnome screensaver after entering my password, and could also bypass this by switching to a VT and back again. Investigation continues, suspect something systemd related as thats the o
15:50 <willcooke> nly package I noticed that was upgraded that could have any bearing on lock screen/password authentication behavior for a seat.
15:50 <willcooke> #topic robert_ancell
15:50 <willcooke> - Set up git branch for XMir (https://code.launchpad.net/~xmir-team/xorg-server/+git/xmir)
15:50 <willcooke> - Merged in Andreas Pokorny's changes to make XMir work with upcoming Mir 0.14.0 and added package to landing-004 PPA
15:50 <willcooke> - Package updates
15:50 <willcooke> - Package sponsorship
15:50 <willcooke> #topic Any other business
15:50 <desrt> nice day to fly a kite, i say
15:50 <willcooke> Thanks to Laney for following up on the build issues already
15:51 <willcooke> it *is* a nice day to fly a kite
15:51 <willcooke> any one for any more?
15:51 <seb128> not me
15:51 <willcooke> 1m timeout set...
15:52 <Laney> seb128: could you promote for https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libgom/+bug/1471292 please?
15:52 <ubot5> Launchpad bug 1471292 in libgom (Ubuntu) "[MIR] libgom" [Undecided,Fix committed]
15:52 <Laney> #notaob
15:52 <seb128> Laney, is there anything that is going to keep it in?
15:52 <seb128> we usual promote only when needed
15:53 <willcooke> let's go fly kites then...
15:53 <seb128> otherwise it creates component mismatch noise and other archive admin demote it
