night <reply> It's the middle of the night in the US and Europe, and surrounds. This means that a lot of people are likely asleep, therefore there are less potential people who can answer your question. doublejoin <reply> Your IRC client is completing NickServ authentication after joining channels, which triggers a fake quit and rejoin to apply your cloak and increases channel noise. The best way to avoid this is to use SASL (https://libera.chat/guides/sasl). Other options for automatic login exist (e.g. CertFP and server password) but sometimes complete after channel join. ubuntutweak <reply> Ubuntu Tweak is a tool that automates some things; however, it is potentially dangerous, and an informal review of its code is pending. badident <reply> Unfortunately, your IRC client has been configured with an ident containing an objectionable word. We don't allow such into our main channels as it offends a lot of people. Your ident is not your nickname. Once you've changed your ident, please disconnect from Libera and reconnect. You will then automatically be let back into the channel you tried to join. nickfork-#ubuntu-offtopic a silly little game for offtopic channels ONLY. The way it works is you pick out a random nick from the /names list (works best if they're idle), have a bunch of people switch to something similar (scrambles, reverse, 1337speak), and see how long it takes for the real person to catch on. Have fun! Added by tonyyarusso
