Terence Simpson is the lead developer for ubottu and maintains the core plugins. He is 23 years old living in the UK.

History

After Dennis Kaarsemaker (seveas) decided to leave the Ubuntu community back in 2008 no one was left who knew about the ubotu plugins or administration and the old bot (ubotu) was no longer available. Jussi Schultink then took the latest branch of the ubotu code and started hosting ubottu on his home server. After that, Terence Simpson became the de-facto maintainer of the ubottu code and started his own branch of "tweaks" (or fixes) to the code. That branch then became the main development and production branch of the ubottu code.
